Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Orbiturn is a mobile precision arcade game developed and published by Built by Poppy (“we,” “us,” or “our”), an independent software studio based in Montevideo, Uruguay. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@builtbypoppy.com.

2. Information stored on your device

Orbiturn uses Unity PlayerPrefs to keep the following game information locally on your device:

• your personal high score;
• coins earned in the game;
• your selected cosmetic;
• onboarding progress; and
• your vibration and haptics preference.

We do not receive this information on our servers. It remains on your device and can be removed by deleting Orbiturn. Because it is not stored in an Orbiturn account or cloud service, we may not be able to restore it after the app or its local data is removed.

3. Advertising through Unity Ads

Orbiturn uses Unity Ads SDK 4.19.0 to provide interstitial and rewarded advertisements. Unity Technologies may process information independently from us to deliver ads, measure performance, prevent fraud, comply with regional requirements, and improve its advertising services.

Depending on your device, region, consent choices, and interactions, this may include:

• country-level or approximate location derived from the connection;
• device or service identifiers;
• app and advertising interactions, including ads shown or engaged with;
• SDK performance and initialization information;
• device language, make, model, screen size, and connection type;
• information associated with advertising measurement or purchase tendencies; and
• information submitted if a player reports an advertisement to Unity.

Unity describes its practices in the Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy and its Apple privacy survey guidance. Privacy choices offered by Unity may be available through the privacy icon shown within an advertisement.

4. Apple Game Center

Players may optionally use Apple Game Center to authenticate and submit a score to the Orbiturn leaderboard. Orbiturn does not create a separate account and does not receive your Apple ID password. Game Center may process a scoped player identifier, your Game Center identity, and your leaderboard score under Apple’s terms and privacy practices.

We do not maintain a separate server-side copy of your Game Center profile. You can manage Game Center through your Apple device settings. For more information, review Apple’s Privacy Policy.

5. Tracking and device permissions

Orbiturn does not currently display Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission and is not intended to access the advertising identifier or track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. Unity Ads is expected to operate within the permissions and privacy choices available on your device. If Orbiturn’s tracking practices change, we will update this policy and request any permission required by Apple.

Orbiturn does not request access to your camera, microphone, precise location, contacts, photo library, Bluetooth, or notifications.

6. Retention and deletion

Local game progress remains on your device until the app or its data is removed. Apple controls information stored in Game Center, and Unity controls information processed by Unity Ads according to their respective retention and deletion policies. You may use their privacy controls or contact them directly to exercise rights concerning data they control.

If you contact Built by Poppy for support, we use your message and return address only to respond and resolve the request. You may ask us to delete that correspondence by emailing us.

7. Children’s privacy

Orbiturn is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information to us. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support request, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

8. International processing

Unity and Apple may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Their privacy policies explain the safeguards and legal bases they use for international processing.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Orbiturn, its SDKs, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy here and change the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated in the app when appropriate.
